Finding Sniper Rifles in Fortnite Season 8

In season 8 of Fortnite, a few new weapons have been added, however, this season seemingly got rid of snipers. But no need to worry, there is still a way to find the sniper rifles.

In Fortnite, sniper Rifles are available in all shapes and sizes. Initially, there were only bolt action snipers, later Epic Games added Full Auto snipers, Semi-Auto Snipers, and Heavy snipers. Mythic and Exotic snipers were also added by Fortnite. These snipers came with special abilities and caused extra damages. However, the point is, snipers have always been an important part of Fortnite's meta.

But as season 8 started, players noted that there was only automatic sniper available in the game which are just glorified Assault Rifles. However, there are a few ways available to find sniper Rifles in season 8.

How to find Sniper Rifles in Fortnite Season 8

Except for one Automatic Sniper Rifle, players can't find any other sniper lying on the ground. Players are also not able to find them in any chests scattered. The only way to get the sniper is to buy them from the characters. 

Rail Guns and Dragon’s Breath Sniper are the only two legitimate snipers that can be found in season 8. However, Rail Guns are not technically snipers, they are more than the Automatic Sniper Rifle.

The below map indicates the location of four characters who sell sniper rifles. J.B. Chimpanksi at Weather Station, Charlotte at Pleasant Park, and Suba Jonesy at Coral Castle all sell Rail Guns. Dragon’s Breath Sniper is sold by Pitstop at Boney Burbs.
