Did you ever wish if you could throw a mortar on the enemy squad in PUBG? We have some good news for you.

A massive update is coming on Nov 3 for PUBG PC and on Nov 11 for consoles. This update has already been released by PUBG on its test servers.
Patch 14.2 incorporates a couple of new weapons added to
the battle royale game, yet all of them will have a major impact on PUBG’s
dedicated players. The new Mortar weapon — just accessible on the new Taego map
— can explode enemy crews at outrageous ranges. To use this new weapon effectively,
the squad will have to calculate the range and practice it for accurately
hitting the target.
In contrast to the Mortar, the M79 Smoke Grenade Launcher is
available on all maps and is another support weapon for players. As the name
infers, the M79 can lay a cover of smoke to hide partners and give strategic
benefits.
In this patch, players will not quickly die in case they're drowned
in water. Players who are downed swim at half the speed of typical players.
Krafton gave some setting on this expansion, saying water was too risky to even
consider crossing without the ability to swim back to safety. The slow swim
speed actually makes boats hazardous in PUBG, yet the improved versatility
ought to urge players to consider going all-in more regularly.
The remaining patch is for the most part small upgrades like chickens, extra custom maps, positioned mode and esports changes, and arcade mode increments. You can look at the full patch notes on the PUBG website.
