Kobe Bryant Passed Away: COD players ask for free new weapon skin to honor NBA player

Kobe Bryant one of the greatest NBA player passed away this weekend in a tragic helicopter crash. And Call of Duty players are demanding Activision to honor the player with a free weapon skin, as once Kobe appeared in one of the COD adverts.




Kobe Bryant was tragically passed away this weekend with his daughter in a helicopter crash, and Call of Duty fans are trusting that the hit game will respect the NBA legend. Bryant, who played his whole profession with the LA Lakers, in the past showed up in a Call of Duty advert for the main Black Ops game in 2009. In the ad Bryant, a five-time NBA titles winner was found in a combat zone holding a weapon with the word 'Mamba' scribbled on it. This, of course, referred to the player's nickname "BlackMamba".




And now upon his death, the COD players are wanting the Activision organization to honor the Bryant by launching a new weapon skin.

Bryant's helicopter crashed because of the amid foggy weather near the California.

On all social media platforms, the fans are paying tribute to the NBA player and asking the COD administration to launch a new weapon skin in order to honor Bryant.

Fans are requesting the Activision to provide the skin free or if not free then the proceeds should go directly to the charity.

On Twitter one fan wrote

"The organization should do that and donate those funds to the basketball teams and rec centers working in the country in honor of Kobe Bryant. I would like to buy it without any reason but to contribute in charity funding".

Another fan said:

"The organization should do that in order to donate to the foundation that Kobe Bryant represented". 

Following the tragic death of Kobe Bryant the twitter account of EA Sports and NBA2K also paid their tributes to the NBA Player.

In Tweet the EA team said:

"We are highly saddened on the passing of the great NBA player Kobe Bryant".

The NBA2K team tweeted:

"RIP to the great legend. You are highly missed. Thank you for your huge contribution on and off the record".

On Sunday a statement was issued by the NBA commissioner Adam Silver for paying tribute to the Bryant saying that

"NBA family is greatly devastated on the tragic passing of the Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna. For 20 season Kobe told us that with a remarkable talent with the devotion for winning everything is possible".  

Names of all the victims of tragic helicopter crashed are still not officially confirmed. However, there are news that the family said the coach of the Orange Coast College baseball team was also on board with his wife Keri and his daughter Alyssa who used to play with the Kobe's daughter Gianna. Additionally, Christina Martin, the coach of Gianna school's basketball team was also onboard according to her husband.
